Even though not in the high season of Phi Phi, the weather of August is often sunny and favorite places around the island remain relatively uncrowded.
Everything is a little less expensive at this time of year, as well, and many hotels offer Green season deals for this time.
The usual pattern for the Phi Phi August weather is brief but heavy showers, with plenty of sunshine between them.
