Local fish caught are the impressive Sail fish or Marlin, grouper, snapper, squid and pla mong. Fresh and succulent they are best eaten outside the hotels in Phi Phi Don Village as the restaurants, Like Mama’s, Amico’s offer a better finish. Local sauces are “sam lot”, a three flavour sauce that is sweet with chili and garlic.

Grand Blue
Right next to Phi Phi Hotel and 20 meters from the pier serves a classic mixture of French, Thai with fusion aspects. The menu is not extensive but what they do they do extremely well. Good World wines at very affordable prices.
Fatties
Proud strong quality German European cooking in a large open tavern environment. Superb bears from Germany makes this a big favourite with resident PADI dive instructors. Try the locally steamed sausage. Bar B Q Night is Friday.
HC Andersens
Danish and Scandinavian steakhouse with a wide menu of European classics. Good beer and a growing wine list.
Mama Resto
Seafood, seafood, seafood. Angelo started this institution almost 12 years ago and apart form some small adjustments, fine seafood with good wines has been a winning formula.
Ciao Bella
On the beach with Italian flavours, what better way to enjoy Loh Dalum bay. Situated in front of Phi Phi Pavilion Resort and next to Phi Phi Charlies.
