A ferry from Krabi to Koh Phi Phi gets you from the mainland of Thailand out through the islands of Phang Nga Bay out to the jewel of all coral islands. Krabi town is the main ferry terminal to Koh Phi Phi but you can also get there direct from Koh Lanta island or Ao Nang Beach.

The main ferry from Krabi to Koh Phi Phi service takes you from Krabi town pier at 10.00am. This departs after the Bangkok to Krabi buses get in. The afternoon ferry from Krabi to Koh Phi Phi departs after the overland transfer from Samui, Koh Tao or Koh Phangan get in. Koh Lanta Ferry from Krabi to Koh Phi Phi

Koh Lanta has a daily ferry service to Koh Phi Phi in the high season months where as in the low season May until November you must take bus or taxi round to Krabi town for the daily ferry service. It takes 1 hour 20 minutes from Koh Lanta to Koh Phi Phi and the ferry leaves at 9am. (this too is a one day tour if you only need to check the island out.) The Koh Lanta resorts provide the early morning transfer to Saladin, the ferry pier.

When you come from Krabi you pass them on the way near the Bamboo Island. This means you will need to take the meet and greet service from the hotels back up to the resorts. This can involve walking accross Phi Phi Don island at high tide (150m) and taking the quicker route that gets to the back of the Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island. The Phi Phi Island Cabana Hotel is next to the main Phi Phi Don Village piper so is only a 15o meter walk to reception.
