Phi Phi Banyan Villa
Phi Phi Banyan Villa, part of the Phi Phi Hotel group, sits on the edge of the main village just on Tonsai Bay. Its central location makes it ideal for the active, close to the dive schools and restaurants and nightlife.
Along wooden verandas and amongst the lush tropical landscaping the two main buildings of the Phi Phi Banyan Villa are an oasis of calm outside the busy village center. With rooms looking over the verdant hills of Phi Phi, it's difficult to imagine the village at all. Pleasant rooms have all the normal facilities except baths (as water is difficult for half the year but not in the Banyan Villa).
With 5 other families totaling 12 adults and 11 children we took 11 rooms at the Phi Phi Banyan Villa. Although a bit chaotic at first (23 people isn't a small number) we moved into the rooms and settled in quickly. As we were doing tours during the day we didn't spend too much time in the rooms apart from sleeping. We arrived by our friend's boat, Barry, from Phuket. We spent a great couple of days speeding around Phi Phi Ley, kayaking and doing the shark watch at Siam UK. In the evening the kids played on the beach while we ate drank deep...
The Tonsai Restaurant is the main <b>Phi Phi Banyan Villa</b> restaurant and is on the beach and provide a nightly feast from the ocean, with lobster, crab, oysters and fresh, fresh locally caught fish. With a lot of flames, wok work, chilies and sauces each night was an exploration in the finest of Thai cuisine................... Written by; Fraser Tomlin.
Good value of Phi Phi Banyan Villa
Although Phi Phi Banyan Villa would not work for all all budgets, and is certainly not the cheapest accommodation the Villa resort can be considered a bargain in from May to October when the prices are reduced.
Phi Phi Banyan Villa Gym
Phi Phi Banyan Villa Gym has earned a reputation as one of the finest gyms in the southern islands near Phuket. The Startrack equipment has all the necessary exercise movement for a serious work out. The dance floor and changing room , sauna facilities round off a very accomplished facility.
