Getting to Phi Phi inside Thailand

Phuket Phi Phi; Phuket Airport Take a taxi to the Rasada Pier in Phuket Town for 08.30 or 13.30, see Airport Pick Up and Ferry Schedule

Krabi Phi Phi; Krabi Airport Take a taxi to "Krabi Town Pier" for 10.30, 14.30 and 16.00 see ferry schedule

Hat Yai Take the bus at 07.00,11.00 or 15.00 to Krabi Town from any travel agent and then take the ferry to Phi Phi Island see Ferry Schedule

Take the buses from any travel agent to Hat Yai and change bus

Samui
There aer 2 flights a day to Phuket International Airport. Buy the ticket from any travel agency. Overland; Take the ferry boat from Samui to Surat Thani, change to the bus for Krabi and then the boat to Phi Phi island.
Koh Phangan Take any of the 3 ferries from Koh Phangan to Samui and then follow description from Samui. Ferries depart from Haad Rin (site of full moon party) and Thong Sala.
Koh Tao
Take the ferry to Samui and then get a ticket from there as described above.

Bangkok Plane: There are 12 flights per day to Phuket Airport starting at 08.00 and the last service is as 20.00 Bus:There are many buses, route via Krabi (not Phuket). The government VIP buses are the best. Trains; There are many trains per day to Surat Thani. From there get a 3 hour bus to Krabi, followed by the ferry to Phi Phi Island.

Kanchana Buri Go by train or Bus to Bangkok before going south.

On Thai holidays the transport system is running at capacity. Check your travel dates against the Thai festival dates. Planes and Buses are busy during December and January. Trains get booked up fast in high season so book 4 days ahead. Ferries to Phi Phi Island can be crowded on Thai Festivals. Arrive at the pier early for a seat. Note: the Chinese New Year is very busy especially in Malaysia ad Singapore, book ahead for routing's south.

Phuket Phi Phi

By far the largest number of boats cruises, ferries leave from Phuket to Phi Phi Island. This is a dominant way to get to the island. The standard Sea Angel Tour is an excellent way to get to see the best of Phi Phi in a great day out. The One day speedboat tours are also highly popular.
