If you visit Phi Phi Island you must visit Tonsai Bay. It is an old cliché but Tonsai Bay is one of the most magnificent bays in the world. A broad sweep of golden yellow sand runs from Long Beach past for the 3 promentaries to the foot of the cliffs but at PP Don. This really is an exceptional bay.

As you arrive from Krabi past sharp point at Long Beach you have an awesome view of the colossal cliffs. When you arrive in the deep water bay you have arrived at the centre of the island. The most famous hotel here is the PP Cabana hotel, though the PP hotel is also now a prominent feature. The seafront is a collection of fantastic seafood restaurants and bars and astonishing golden sandy beaches. A deep blue water of the bay is clear and clean and the coral reefs go all the way out to the edges of the bay.

Near the main village you'll see many dive boats and speedboats in the evenings, and this shows that Tonsai Bay is the center of all things in PP Island.
