Koh Doc Mai Is a famous diving site island just a few miles east of Phuket on your way out to Phi Phi Island and Shark Point. The regular ferry transfer to Phi Phi Passes it in just a few meters distance.
Koh Doc Mai has a very striking coastline as it comes directly out of the Sea and goes vertically up to a jungle covered top.
The diving is quite beautiful on Koh Doc Mai and the north east and south sides are marked by beautiful walls covered with an extraordinary variation of corals and covered with beautiful shells and schools of small fish. Moray eels are common on Koh Doc Mai.
To get to Koh Doc Mai you can take a standard diving tour from Phi Phi or hire a private speedboat. Last Updated: 05 Sep 2011
