Bamboo Mountain View : Overview

This hidden away mini resort has the space and comfort needed for a relaxing break. In an atmosphere of rustic charm and making good use of bamboo, the Bamboo Mountain View suites the traveler in search of something more authentic, quirky and original. I liked the way the room was shaped around a huge boulder that jutted into the side of the wall. The pathway upto the rooms is steep in a couple of spots but the views from the higher bungalows reach as far as the Phi Phi island cliffs of Tonsai.

Bamboo Mountain View: Rooms Overview

These 2 star rooms enjoy a fun mix of the rustic and the modern. The mosquito nets work well and the fan or air conditioning keeps the rooms cool. The TV offers a good selection of English news and movies.

The part bamboo, tiled floors and boulders embedded into the walls give a tremendous character.

The views from the walk ways infront of the rooms have exciting views down to the pool, and reception and out to the Tonsai Cliffs, The Village and Loh Dalum Bay.
The beds are raised off the ground by a concrete plinth and decorated with soft fabrics and white walls give a homely and light feel.

Pls note: the steep walkways are not suitable for young children.

	Deluxe Air-con (2 Pax) -- click for rates These rooms have better soft furnishings are a deal larger and are at the best position for all the aircon rooms. Rooms include hot water, TV.
	Family Air-con (4 Paxs) -- click for rates The largest rooms in Bamboo Mountain View cater to groups of 4 and families. Rooms include hot water, TV.

Set all the way back behind the village and about a 500 meter stroll from the main pier Bamboo Mountain View gets you to the heart of the island. On the main track to the Hill village there is always and interesting traffic of local people going about their daily chores.

The restaurant is located by the poolside, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, which serves a daily a la carte menu with Thai and Western style. We also serve a range of cocktails and soft drinks. We offer a pool table and satellite TV with Thai and International channels for complete relaxation.

Bamboo Mountain View : Recreation, Sports and Shopping

There are multiple things to do on Phi Phi island. The beach is 200 meters to Loh Dalum or 200 meters to the beach infornt of Hippies Bar. The nearest dive shops are at Harlequin Divers or at Viking divers. One day snorkeling tours of the Phi Phi island can be organized in the village from the multiple travel shops.
