Silver shop Phi Phi Island Photo

The Silver photo was taken at Marijuana shop which has some beautiful work behind small glass cabinets. The shop is on the main street of Phi Phi Village 40 meters from the Phi Phi pier.

Most of the silver comes overland from Nakhorn Si Thammarat province on the east side of Thailand where there is long history of fine silver work. More recently the designs have modernized and are greatly appreciated by the tourists visiting Phi Phi on the daily boat trips from Phuket.

Silver is the ideal souvenir as it is light and easy to carry with no export restriction.
