If you get there durng the day the day trippers swarm the beach like headless chickens, the Chinese Asians don’t seem to know what to do withthemselves when confronted with such beauty. Huddling together they wait for their time to get back on the boat and find dry land.

But… hang out long enough and the day tippers depart and this world class beach comes alive to the magic of the scenery. The tall majestic cliffs that surround Phi Phi island, covered in a jungle creates an atmosphere where time stood still. Maya Bay is a world class beach.
