I can never see enough of Loh Dalum Beach on a day like this when the weather is perfect. Just the number of people hanging out on this beach and you know you are at the place on Phi Phi island. During the day it's a place to meet, take a swim and relax. In the evening is there any place better than the beach for enjoying the stars and moonlite nights.
I visited Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort yesterday afternoon To see what this quiet part of the island is like in November when it is very busy in the main village. I walked up to Viewpoint and walked past it and followed the signs for Runtee bay. The walk took me about 50 minutes and I was glad again of the chance to buy some water at the viewpoint as it was hot.
The walked down two and tied a is a lot steeper then the walk up to viewpoint and I had to keep my wits about me as the soil was still wet from the last few days of storm. When I got to Phi Phi relax beach resort I found it in near perfect conditions with clear views right over to Lanta and the mainland province of Krabi. I like Phi Phi relax because it is what it says on the tin. Relaxing. I stayed to drink a Coca-Cola And chat with some of the long-term residents of the bungalows and schmoozed away three or four hours before I chickened out of the walk back and took the longtail boat around to the main Pier at Phi Phi Don.
