These pretty pictures of the bay were taken last week in the morning while the sun was still on the eastern walls of the cliffs of
Tonsai Bay.
These are cool thin little beaches that feel really remote and yet are only 5 minutes from the main peir. In low season these beaches are out of the main westerly wind and stay calm. Just a hundred meters further south there is some great
day diving and also one site I used for a night dive.

You have got to say that Lanah bay on Phi Phi is fantastic, world class. Very few people get to this part of Phi Phi even though it is only about 3 km from the main beach! I think this is one of Phi Phi Island's better secrets and you can get their from the
Phi Phi lagoon Resort which is only 10 minutes walk away.
