storm in Phi Phi island

A storm came in from the Pacific ocean on the east side of Thailand and with its parole some strong winds and rain. The Worst affected areas of Thailand walls on the East Coast near Nakhorn Si Thamarat province some 300 miles away. Still The rain made for some poll whether and the last couple of days have been dismal. The fair is have still been running, Boat trips to the still bays still operate snorkeling and dive trips have still gone out. Bus have been very busy at night In the bad weather and has been a great place for holidaymakers to meet up and have some fun.


I did a walk up to viewpoint in the cool rain yesterday and the scene was quite wild but really exhilarating. I seemed to be the only person up there and trees were being buffeted by strong gusts. Are came back to my room at the PP Casita Soaked but felt I’d had a real fun adventure.
